Prerequisites

Before getting started with Domiex - Next TS Admin & Dashboard Template, ensure your development environment has the following tools installed:

Installing Domiex - Next TS Admin & Dashboard Template

We have used understandable and easy-to-understand instructions to help you install Domiex - Next TS Admin & Dashboard Template in your project. Follow the below steps to get started.

1. Download the Package
  • Source: Download the code from Domiex Download.
  • Format: The file will be in a .zip file format.
2. Unzip the file
  • Extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file to a directory on your computer. It will extract in the Domiex_v*.*.* folder.
  • After extracting the downloaded .zip file, you'll find three folders:
  • Admin: Contains the Next-TS admin dashboard template.
  • Documentation: Contains the documentation for the template.

For Starterkit or Separate files download: Download it from the Domiex.

3. Install Node.js and yarn (If not already installed)
  • Prerequisite: Ensure Node.js and yarn are installed on your system. Make sure to use node version 22.*.
  • Command: If Node.js is not installed, download and install it from the website. And if yarn is not installed, download and install it from the website.
4. Install Packages
  • Setup: Open your terminal or command prompt from the Domiex_v1.0.0/Next-TS/Admin folder.
  • Execute: Run the following command to install all the required Node.js packages and dependencies specified in the package.json file:
    yarn
  • Explanation: This command will download and install all the necessary dependencies for your project, including build tools, libraries, and plugins, ensuring your development environment is set up correctly.
5.Generate Prisma Database
  • Command: After the dependencies are installed, generate prisma database by running the following command:
    npx prisma generate
6. Start in Development Mode
  • Command: To begin development and work on your project in a live environment, execute:
    yarn run dev
  • Outcome: This will launch a local development server, allowing you to preview your project in real-time. The server also provides hot-reloading, meaning any changes you make to your files will automatically refresh in your browser. It will be accessible at http://localhost:3000.
7. Format code with Prettier
  • Command: it will format all code with prettier:
    yarn prettier:write
  • Outcome: This command will format your code using Prettier. Once formatted, you can launch your local development server using yarn dev to preview changes in real-time. The server supports hot-reloading and is typically accessible at http://localhost:3000.
8. Start MongoDB Database
  • Command: Ensure you have Prisma set up in your project with a MongoDB connection so run this command in other poewrShell:
    npx prisma studio
  • Outcome: This will launch a local Prisma Studio server, allowing you to interact with your database in real-time. The server also provides live updates, meaning any changes you make to your data will automatically reflect in the interface. It will be accessible at http://localhost:5555 by default. http://localhost:5555.
